Emily and I woke up early on Saturday and sat on the porch swing for a while… just enjoying the calmness of the morning.
Today was the day I had been planning for the last 9 months.
Today was the day I dreamed of all my life.

I gave the girls their gifts from me… to say thank you for all of their help and support. We all had matching cowboy robes and boot slippers to get ready in.

Emily gave me a gift of my own.
Couldn’t be more true…
or perfect.

It was time to get this show on the road! I treated the girls to hair and makeup… I wanted everyone to feel beautiful today.
Our makeup artist was the very talented Heather from Hues by Heather.

She specializes in air brush makeup.

Right when I started getting my makeup done… a messenger was sent over with a gift from Jon. He got me a Breitling watch… something I have always wanted but wouldn’t dare splurge on for myself.
Needless to say, I was very excited.

I gave Jon his gift later that day…
I had a custom tooled leather Bible cover made (with a newlywed devotional Bible inside) as our “Farley family” Bible. It is something that I hope we will be able to keep as a family heirloom and pass it down to our children and grandchildren. For me, this was symbolic for the importance of God as the foundation and center of our marriage.

The inside cover has a verse:
“You were united to your wife by the Lord. In God’s wise plan, when you married, the two of you became one person in his sight” Malachi 2:15
