Chappell Hill is a tiny historic community in Washington County, Texas. It may be small (approximately 300 people live in the town) but the charm is ginormous. They put on an annual scarecrow festival in which all of the store fronts and homes display a scarecrow of sorts.
It was so festive to drive through.
My favorite display was in front of the church.
The main drag through town is very quaint. And very small.
Skeletons hanging from the porch. It was spookier in person.
Another bed and breakfast.
This restored Victorian home was in Brenhem… but I thought it was worthy to share with y’all. Isn’t it gorgeous?
I just love finding cute little towns and discovering their history.
There is just something so charming about old homes and historic buildings.
The area of Chappell Hill and Brenhem was spectacular; the countryside and green pastures were a refreshing escape from everyday life. I hope to go back in Spring to see the blue bonnets in bloom!
Now THAT would be a dreamy sight!
