Ok, so maybe it’s not a great debate.
But with a title like that, how could you NOT participate in my polls? We all like our opinions weighed in when there is a great debate, right?
So. I’ve been pondering this for a while…and maybe you have, too, if you have a blog. We all love getting comments… and often times we want to respond to them, even if to just acknowledge our appreciation for something that was said. The easiest way is obviously just to respond back in the comment section… but here’s my dilemma: Does anyone actually come back to a blog post to read the comment section? Most of us read lots of blogs and don’t have time to see IF someone even responded.
BUT, on the other hand, sometimes I feel intrusive responding back to someone’s personal email. For WordPress blogs, like mine, you have to leave your email address to comment. Only I can see it and, of course, would never share it… but a required email address doesn’t equal an invitation to be emailed in my opinion. Although for me personally, I love it when I get emails from my readers or other bloggers. It doesn’t bother me at all; Quite the contrary. (Which, I might add, I am SO behind in email responses right now and I am desperately trying to catch up!) But not everyone possesses the same outlook in regards to their private email. And I want to be respectful of that.
So I’ve created a couple of polls to see what y’all prefer! 
I love having interaction with my commenters… and would like to know how you would prefer a response.
I have made polls so it can be done anonymously, but I’d love to hear your feedback in the comment section, too!

Hopefully this will be the answer to the great comment/response debate. Because I know we’ve all been losing sleep over it at night.
