Halloween is almost here and we all know that making food festive always gets the family in the spirit of the holiday. For many of us, however, life gets busy and our good intentions of baking pumpkin shaped cookies or spider cupcakes simply flies by the wayside.
That doesn’t have to be.
There are plenty of fun, easy and time efficient ways to dress up your food in the Halloween spirit! Though, not a new idea, Mummy dogs are a reminder that meal time can be fun with minimal effort.
All you need are hot dogs and refrigerated croissant rolls.
Simply unroll the croissant dough and wrap around the hot dog. Place on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 10-13 minutes. Give two mustard dots for eyes and you have yourself a mummy!
It really doesn’t get any easier.
You’re going to fix lunch anyway, why not give it a little holiday spirit?
