Married to Luigi

I feel that it is necessary and appropriate to warn y’all for what you are about to see in pictures to come…

My husband is growing a mustache. Yes. You read correctly.

His excuse for this scruffy strip of wrong is “tradition”.  Everyone grows a mustache before they head to boat as a right of passage while they earn their boat qualification. And I’m fine with that. What I’m not fine with… is how much he is enjoying it. 😉

Heaven help me, I am married to a man that has a groovy, far-out mustache. Despite what you might think, he does not drive a van without windows. Go down pipes? Hop over beetles? Bump bricks with his head? Now that is a completely different story.

“Whatcha lookin at, Luigi?

You’ve got nothin on MY mustachio!” – Jon

Pleased as punch.

Don’t say I didn’t give you fair warning. 😉

Now, what is really important… He is going to land his jet on a boat in less than two weeks!! (AAAHHHH!)  He is a champ and I know he will do great… but I think it is only natural to be a wee bit apprehensive about your husband landing a jet on a tiny moving strip of boat in the middle of the ocean. I guess a feat like that deserves the reward of a mustache. 😉 Did I mention he is a champ? :)

    Dear Mrs. Mustache,
Landing on a moving runway is exactly why I’m thankful we’re Air Force! At least he doesn’t look like a smurf of something! :) Make sure you give us the date so we can be praying (for you both!). Tara
