Southern Rose Bed and Breakfast

I have to show you around the bed and breakfast that we stayed at during our antique extravaganza. It is situated off a little dirt road in the tiny little historic town of Chappell Hill, TX… tucked away in the serene countryside.

I know my produce codes {all of them} and still was stumped by this fruit.

My best guess is persimmons.

The first morning we had dee-lightful strawberry and cream cheese french toast with a side of sausage.

The second day we had fresh fruit with yogurt and flaxseed with almost a quiche like dish, containing farm fresh eggs, ham, tomatoes, avocado with a creamy cilantro dressing. And a side of fresh banana nut bread.

We felt very spoiled. :)

It was sad to say goodbye to such tranquil, picturesque surroundings.

Southern Rose Ranch was southern hospitality at it’s finest.

I would love to come back in spring and stay here when the meadows are graced with blue bonnets.

What a dreamy place to stay.
