I can attest that the very first word I ever learned to spell as a child was:
M-I-S-S…I-S-S…I-P-P…I
And it had a catchy tune to the spelling. Boy, oh boy… I felt like the smartest 5 year old on the planet! Do you know how long that word is? And I could spell it?!
I thought it would only be appropriate to celebrate such a memorable, fun word for Mosaic Monday. 
Now that I am an adult, I can appreciate all of the beauty of the South… including the Mighty Mississippi River… and the great state of Mississippi.
